As Director and Business Partner within BSIA Ltd, I pride myself on having a very hands-on style of leadership, using an extensive and varied background in construction, facilities management, social housing, project management and health and safety to physically add measurable value to our clients.
As a Chartered Health & Safety Practitioner, with over 25 years in the industry, I am personally committed to safeguarding the environment and the Health & Safety of others. As a result of my experience, I have a pragmatic understanding of each task, which allows me to bring all my intellect in carrying out specific risk assessments for varying client needs, equally on both the most complex of activities and in the most difficult of environments.
It is critical that Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 CDM puts Health & Safety at the forefront of all projects and as such, at BSIA we use all our evidence-based experience to integrate the right management at the right time in order for our client’s projects, people and the construction industry as a whole to improve health and safety at each and every workface.
I have been involved in a wide array of projects including the Olympic Park with its very impressive record-breaking performance for health and safety. Advising hotel venues so they can deliver their functions with the right skills, knowledge, experience and behaviours, and deal with dynamic situations making the right health and safety decisions for guest safety time after time.
